Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Arsenal and England midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The deal, rumoured to be in the region of £40 million, follows talks with Arsenal earlier today. The England international, 24, had previously turned down a move to Chelsea making it clear that Anfield was his preferred destination. The Ox, as he is known, started for Arsenal at the weekend as they suffered a 4 – 0 drubbing and when he was substituted he received a round of applause from Red fans at Anfield.
