Oh Karius proving again growing in confidence every game.
-
Karius wasn’t really tested. Don’t think he needed to make a save but wouldn’t have got close to saving that deflected shot that went over the bar – may have had the one that went just wide covered.
What sets him apart from Mignolet is the distribution, the ball at his feet etc. Sky did a breakdown of the GK’s – De Gea is the best shot stopper and…[Read more]

LFC Look more devestating without Coutinho IMO. VvD is wow.
-
VVD looked very composed and hit some fantastic balls to the corners – great long range passing. As I said, the front men will get the plaudits buts defensively we looked solid and composed.
-
As for Coutinho, he is still missed. We lack that passing and vision. Fortunately, Firmino has dropped a bit deeper and often is the link man now where Coutinho would be. Tonight we saw Mane and Salah working very hard to get back, to make those tackles and then to try and be Coutinho in driving forward and picking the right passes.

Karius is going to prove how good he really is IMO.
-
I said when we signed him he had a lot of potential – even though many questioned why we went for him and not a bigger name. Its taken longer than I expected for him to settle – seemed to be trying too hard at times, letting the occasion and fans get to him a bit. Maybe not helped by the people in front of him not giving him confidence in their ability.

Gomez and Robertson need to come in a.s.a.p, Lovren to partner VvD also Karius in goal. Henderson back in midfield.
-
Can’t blame TAA or Moreno. The problem came from Midfield, not making the tackles, letting them run through and then not even picking up the runners. Our last 2 matches has shown up our Midfield more than anything else. Against Swansea, no creativity, no ability to go past people, draw defenders and pick a quality pass/shot which also nullified…[Read more]
