Respect to Lovren for playing through the pain?
Very worrying, though…https://t.co/MjBCdKizJF

oh FFS!!!! yet MORE poor final balls….
-
BAMozzy posted an update 7 years, 2 months ago
Final ball has been poor – but even when we get in behind their defence, we are snatching at chances and not even hitting the target…
Still 8mins of injury time!
Come on you REDS!!!! YNWA -

Half-time 1-1
We really need to put these chances away and kill this game off… -

5 on 2 and we blow that chance!!!!

55% possesion, 8 attempts with 4 on target compared to 45% 1 attempt, 1 on target for Spartak…
Yet again dominating, only 50% on target and only 25% of those actually going in (12.5% finishing) -

What a goal superbly worked between Mane and Coutinho!

Coutinho!!!!!! 1-1 (31min)
Great 1-2 with Mane on the left and Coutinho gets his 2nd in 2 matches for his first CL goal…

3 changes as Mane, Salah, Coutinho and Firmino start
Liverpool Team; Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Matip, Moreno, Henderson, Can, Coutinho, Salah, Mane, Firmino.Subs; Mignolet, Flanagan, Klavan, Milner, W […]

I am very happy with this attacking lineup! With Coutinho pulling the strings and Mane and Salah running them ragged I can only see one result!

Our fab4

I am still puzzled as to why Klopp is messing about with the goalkeeper position. What our defence needs at the moment is stability and continuity. I don’t think changing the goalkeeper every game is necessary or useful.
-
Well we have to trust Jürgen Klopp on this one. The argument would be that he wants to keep all 3 keepers fresh, active & hungry. ?⚽️

LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS
Team to play Spartak Moscow: Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Matip, Moreno, Henderson, Can, Coutinho, Salah, Mane, Firmino
Subs: Mignolet, Flanagan, Klavan, Milner, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sturridge
-
No ‘big’ surprise. I did wonder if Salah may be rested and Coutinho moved forward with Gini keeping his place but hoped Klopp would go for it with both Mane and Salah on the wings. If Spartak have a ‘weakness’ its at their fullback areas so having pace on either side should terrorise their defence.
Come on you REDS!!! YNWA

Well pleased to see our fab4 start for the first time. ?

Watching Liverpool FC these days gives me grey hair! Why is it always a roller coaster of breathtaking brilliance and utter amateur rubbish. Could do without the peaks and troughs on health grounds!
-
Yes in a way bro, but once we land Virgil Van Dyijke in January he’ll make a huge difference to our defense. Lovren simply not good enough for LFC. I like Gomez and TAA too. Coutinho and Salah have a telepathic understanding seriously impressive. Roberto Firminio was quite quiet yesterday. Thank god Sadio Mane is back for us now!!. #SG8 did s…[Read more]

No Firmino!, dropped or rested? WOWWWWWW
I think he has been dropped because of his goals return. Sturridge has been brought in today because I think Klopp believes that he can get a goal
Firmino looked tired and has run himself into the ground. I really thought Klopp would have started him though as we have a 2wk international break coming up.
